Richard's 812 Roof Shield in Venezuelan Tile is a vinyl acrylic roof paint formulated for barrel tile, asphalt, gravel, and slate roofs. The flat finish blends with traditional roofing aesthetics while providing weather resistance, fade resistance, and protection against mildew and algae growth.

Formulated to resist fading, mildew, and algae in South Florida's harsh sun and humidity. Self-priming on properly prepared painted surfaces in good condition.
Best for: Barrel tile roofs, asphalt roofs, gravel roofs, slate roofs. Exterior use only.
Key details: Exterior. Flat finish (0–5 @ 60°). Covers 200–300 sq ft/gal depending on surface porosity. Dry to touch in 1–2 hours; recoat in 4–6 hours or after overnight. Warm soapy water cleanup. ≤250 g/L VOC (AIM/OTC compliant).
Professional note: NOT for roofs subject to ponding water. On unpainted cement, slate, or masonry roofs, prime first with Richard's #56 Signature Series Waterborne Epoxy Ester Bonding Liquid or #1414 Rich Flex Alkali Resistant Acrylic Masonry Primer. Tinting not recommended.
