Fresh Start Multi-Purpose Latex Primer N023 is a 100% acrylic primer that seals, hides, and blocks stains on interior and exterior surfaces. One primer handles drywall, wood, masonry, metal, and even hard-to-coat substrates like ceramic tile and Formica.
Why choose it: 100% acrylic formula adheres to more surfaces than standard latex primers. Blocks water stains, tannin bleed, smoke damage, crayon, nicotine, and fingerprints. Quick dry — touch in 1 hour, recoat in 3 hours. Minimal odor. LEED v4 eligible, CHPS low emitting, CDPH v1 certified. MPI #6, 17, 39, 137 approved.
Best for: Interior: drywall, wood, plywood, plaster, ceiling tile, Formica, Masonite, ceramic tile. Exterior: wood, fiber cement, hardboard, aluminum, galvanized metal, brick, masonry, ferrous metal.

Professional note: For most effective sealing action, allow 24 hours dry time before applying the finish coat. Do not use for sealing knots or pine sap — use an oil-based primer like Fresh Start 024 for those applications. Minimum application temperature: 40°F.
